Shuangwei Biotechnology Continues to Hold the Honor of Outstanding Credit Enterprise
On the morning of Feb. 24, 2009, at Hua Dong Hotel, the Jiangsu Food and Drug Administration held a commendation meeting for Outstanding Credit Enterprises in Medical Devices for 2007–2008. Representatives of 37 outstanding enterprises received the award on stage, including Shuangwei Biotechnology Co., Ltd.
“Without trust and honesty, neither a person nor an enterprise can be well established.” Nanjing Shuangwei has continued to hold this title by upholding its operating principle of “honesty, pragmatism, innovation and continuous improvement”, and by strictly following Chinese national regulations, the EU MDD and ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 in production and management since the company was founded in 2001.
Under the Credit Enterprise programme initiated by the Jiangsu Food and Drug Administration in 2005, the province conducts an annual selection of Credit Enterprises and Outstanding Credit Enterprises among medical-device manufacturers. In line with “the assessment method for credit grades of medical-device manufacturers in Jiangsu Province”, 37 Outstanding Credit Enterprises and 150 Credit Enterprises were chosen from nearly 1,800 medical-device companies through municipal recommendation and final provincial review.
Nanjing Shuangwei’s continued recognition affirms the company’s performance and motivates every member of staff. Taking the honor as a new starting point, the team will continue its concerted efforts to foster a culture of “following the rules, focusing on quality and valuing credit”, working to establish Shuangwei as a benchmark in the credit system of the medical-device industry and to contribute to the safety and availability of medical devices for the public.
